Welcome to iHerb 2024 Open Enrollment

November 1 at 8am PST/11am EST – November 14, 2023 at 5pm PST/8pm EST

Open Enrollment is the once-a-year event where benefit changes can be made without a qualifying life event. During Open Enrollment you can:

  • Add or remove dependents
  • Switch your benefit plans
  • Apply for voluntary benefits
  • Elect FSA contributions (contributions do not automatically rollover)
  • Elect HSA contributions (contributions do not automatically rollover)
  • Verify and update your beneficiaries (available year-round)
  • Verify and update your contact information (available year-round)

What’s New & Changing in 2024

  • New medical plan names: “Consumer Choice” (formerly HDHP), “Traditional” (formerly PPO), and “Network” (formerly HMO).
  • Due to IRS legislative changes, the embedded family deductible for each individual under the family medical plan has increased from $3,000 to $3,200 for the Consumer Choice (formerly HDHP) plan only.
  • Addition of postpartum maternity services to the current Blue Shield / Maven maternity program, at no cost.

How to Enroll or Make Changes

Follow these steps to enroll in or make changes to your benefits.

1. Learn More About Our Plans

  • Review this site: Here you’ll find in-depth information about each benefit and access to important forms and documents. In addition, you will find the 2024 Open Enrollment FAQs
  • Read your benefits guide: The benefit guides are your first step toward understanding the valuable benefits available to you. Use your guide to compare plan options and evaluate costs.

2. Determine Your Needs

Take time to consider your past expenses to help you estimate the amount of health care you will require in the upcoming year.

3. Enroll Online

Log into Workday to enroll in or make changes to your benefits. 

4. Confirm Your Elections

Review your confirmation statement to make sure your benefits and dependent information are correct.

5. Others

If you enroll your spouse/registered domestic partner in one of iHerb’s medical plans, there is an automatic surcharge of $100 per month. A Spousal Affidavit form must be completed every year and when there is a change in your spouse’s benefit eligibility during the year. Annual re-certification required. Spousal surcharge waiver does not carry over from current plan year to the next plan year.
